The Concept
Heat & Eat baguettes are partially baked and offer the opportunity to enjoy a delicious crusty fresh baguette at home after a few minutes in your oven. For those working from home, it will make for lunchtime inspiration from the comfort of their own kitchen. Heat & Eat baguettes are suitable for freezing, so consumers can have the highest quality, freshest bakery bread at home any time.
The project was led by Pierre of the R&D team, who researched, developed and launched Heat & Eat in conjunction with the operations NPD team.
Available in two variants: White and Seeded, the baguettes come in a 3-pack format. Its light texture, wheat flavour and unique crispiness make for a delicious sandwich bread.
Simply oven bake for 6-8 minutes, or 10 minutes from frozen, then fill with your sandwich option of choice. Whether it is a simple ham & cheese baguette, or something hot, like a BLT or steak sandwich, Heat & Eat has you covered!
