Job Purpose:

join the business to drive profitable sales growth with its major Retail Customers in the UK.

The company, which has invested in world class automated production facilities, produces recognised premium quality products and is a category leader with major Retailers in Ireland and the UK.  The company is expanding its sales and marketing team to drive sales growth through own-label and branded solutions with existing and new retail customers.

 

The company now requires an ambitious, energetic and driven Commercial Manager to join the team at this exciting stage in its development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver the sales and profit objectives for key customer accounts in the UK as set out in the budgeting and business planning processes.

  2. Lead the key account cross functional teams to identify and deliver the growth opportunities with key customers.

  3. Build strong business relationships with key customers through deep customer knowledge and excellence in delivering on promises.

  4. Be passionate about our products and their performance in the Retail stores in order to understand the challenges and opportunities for each account.

  5. Protect and enhance existing margins and deliver on margin targets for new products

  6. Promote cross functional teamwork between the commercial, category, marketing, new product development and operation teams within the business.

 

Qualifications and/or Experience:

  • At least 6 years’ experience experience in a senior commercial role for an FMCG business dealing with major Retailers in UK or Ireland.

  • A demonstrated ability to deliver sales growth through innovative category and account initiatives.

  • A demonstrated ability to develop senior level relationships with major retailers.

  • Graduate with degree/masters in a business, marketing or a related discipline. 

  • Good communicator, clear thinker, entrepreneurial outlook, passionate about FMCG sales.

  • Independently minded, confident, and the ability to influence at senior management levels.

Remuneration Package:

  • Strong remuneration package dependent on experience.
