Background:

Panelto Foods is an Irish food company based in Longford with a sales support office in Dublin. Panelto produces a range of high quality contemporary sandwich breads for the UK and Irish and food service markets, from a highly automated world class bakery. Panelto has recently announced a major expansion doubling the size of the existing factory and workforce. Panelto is seeking to appoint an ambitious Sales Executive to join the dynamic sales team in Ireland supporting the Irish and UK sales teams.

Role of Sales Executive:

Working as part of the sales team to provide exemplary customer service while acting as a key liaison between internal sales as well as finance, new product development and operations to effectively position the department to report back on sales status, sales opportunities, potential competitors and all other relevant feedback. The role will suit a person with a future ambition to become an Account Manager or Trade Marketing Manager. The role is based in Dublin and will involve weekly site meetings to our Longford plant, plus travel to the UK as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for the National Account Managers in the UK and Ireland

  • Work with National Account Managers to ensure the effective activation of trade plans

  • Deliver commercial and customer insights into the performance of each account

  • Responsible for all customers reporting particularly the preparation and completion of weekly and monthly sales report

  • Responsible for the weekly sales forecasting and communicating to the business

  • Responsible for department queries ensuring all customer requirements are communicated to the relevant personnel and department team members 

  • Plan, prepare and attend relevant meetings with the National Account Managers

  • Liaise with trade marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment 

  • Additions duties may be required from time to time

 

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a FMCG environment, with the ambition to progress within the business

  • Commercial and sales oriented with a strong support analytical skillset

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint

  • Capable of working independently

  • Industry knowledge is an advantage

  • Full clean driver’s license, as role will involve travel
